    Alongside Vice President, Randy, Greg formed High Availability, Inc. in 2000 after a long career at a technology distributor. Greg likes to maintain an air of mystery and is alleged to be a shapeshifter. Some folks also believe him to be a reincarnated bootlegger from the 1920’s, as he frequents several remaining speakeasies in the Minneapolis area.

    In 2000, EVP, Randy, founded and helped build the company that is now known as High Availability, Inc. Randy holds a BS in Finance, but has always had a strong passion for technology. When he isn't leading the sales team, he spends his time researching and evaluating new technologies to help H.A. differentiate itself from the competition. On the weekends he isn't working, Randy likes to fish, hunt, and watch his children play sports.

    Steve is the veteran of all veterans at High Availability, Inc., founding the Mid-Atlantic office in 2002! He is also a graduate of West Chester University, which might explain the heavy alumni presence in the office. Steve’s areas of expertise include sales and technical leadership, business operations and killer dance moves (which only a handful of lucky H.A. employees can attest to). His motto is “work hard, play hard,” and if you’ve ever visited the office, or attended an H.A. golf outing, you know he fully embodies the phrase. It is a little known fact that Steve takes just about every bet he’s confronted with—Try him out!

    Adam is one of High Availability, Inc.’s original account managers, joining the company in 2006, and now manages the Rocky Mountain Region office. While he manages accounts of all types and sizes, he has a particular interest in storage and hyperconverged infrastructure. Adam is a self-proclaimed professional nerd, and in his free time hosts a history podcast. He finds the Liger to be his most accurate spirit animal.

    Aimee, a graduate of West Chester University, is Steve’s inside account manager and right hand. From drafting up a quote in record time to acting as the office Uber driver, she does it all. Aimee also sees the world a little differently—She possesses a neurological phenomenon known as Synesthesia, and associates each letter and number with a specific color. Pretty awesome!

    Akash is a Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE #27992) specializing in Unified Communication (UC). He has been working as a Subject Expert for Planning Design & Implementation of Cisco UC solution over the last 12 years. Akash has particular interests in the latest Collaboration technologies, such as Audio/Video Conferencing, WebEx, Jabber and Spark. Akash's motto is, "Do my best, so that I can't blame myself for anything."

    Ali, CCIE #20301 RS, SP, DC, has more than 15 years of experience in designing and implementing computer network solutions. While his experience is diverse and far reaching, he specializes in campus LAN, WAN, security and datacenter technologies. Ali is responsible for presales design, architecture, and engineering for client solutions across all of his skill areas. In his free time, Ali enjoys snowboarding and taking photographs.

    If you’ve been to the H.A. office, you have likely been greeted at the door by Amanda. She specializes in keeping the office organized and making office supply dreams come true (within a $100 spending limit). If Amanda could have any super power, it would be the ability to pop into a field of flowers at any given time. But don’t let her peaceful demeanor and poetic vernacular fool you, Amanda earned a black belt in karate at the age of 12!

    Ben is a solutions engineer with over 16 years of experience with NAS/SAN solutions architecture, enterprise cloud solutions, VMware, Windows, and Linux/Unix systems administration. Ben has also spent a lot of time working on Next Gen Firewall solutions like Palo Alto and various hyper-converged solutions. His favorite part about being an engineer at H.A. is making the customer smile and allowing them to sleep at night, knowing they have a well-designed infrastructure. If Ben could have any super power, it would be the ability to do the Moonwalk.

He has a particular interest in next generation Data Center Networks and Network Feature Virtualization.

    Since 2010, Bill has gained extensive experience engineering and architecting enterprise infrastructure solutions, with his primary focus on the Microsoft stack. He enjoys assisting companies in cloud migrations, corporate mergers, acquisitions and carve-outs by aligning technology to the business process. On a sunny Sunday afternoon, you can find Bill hitting the trails or relaxing outside with his family.

    Bob is a Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE #38296) specializing in Networking and sarcasm. He has over 12 years of experience designing, building and operating advanced data networks and has a keen interest in next-generation networking technologies including software defined networks, datacenter fabrics, IPv6 and cloud computing. Bob’s motto is, “Entia non sunt multiplicanda praeter necessitatem”.

    At High Availability, Inc., Brittany is responsible for all things marketing. Conveniently, this includes writing the employee biographies. She is a consistently high-performing employee, and one of Steve’s top 3 favorite workers in the office. When she isn’t organizing a technical workshop or crafting Pulitzer Prize-worthy articles for the H.A. website, you can find Brittany out hiking the Wissahickon with her Australian Shepherd, Ruxin. She identifies Jon Snow as both her spirit animal and fictional literary crush.

    Christian is a veteran of the technology industry, breaking into the market in the summer of 1997, after graduating from University of Delaware with a degree in Business Administration. Over his 20-year career, Christian has spent nearly 13 years in the channel, and another 7 years with High Availability, Inc. partners. Here at H. A., Christian manages a portfolio of accounts, along with supervising a team of senior account managers. Outside of work, Christian is a retired ice hockey player, dedicated husband, and father of three. He enjoys golf and telling old hockey "war stories" about himself that may or may not be true!

    Craig heads up the cloud computing department at High Availability, Inc. He has 20+ years of experience across many areas of IT including Windows, Linux, Storage, Virtualization, Automation, Load-Balancing, Authentication, Cloud Computing, and DevOps.  Craig is H.A.’s resident flower child—He has not cut his hair, or owned a television in over 12 years!

    Dan is a Cisco Certified Network Professional specializing in routing and switching, wireless, security, data center networking, and voice networking. He lives by the motto “choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life.” Dan the Man, as we have aptly nicknamed him, adapted quickly to H.A.’s fast-paced environment and we instantaneously felt he was the missing piece of the H.A. puzzle – Literally. We have an employee puzzle in the office.

    Dave, CCIE #18848, joined the High Availability, Inc. networking team in 2017 with 15+ years industry experience in designing and implementing secure data networks. His main areas of expertise are core routing/switching and network security. Dave's life motto is "attitude is everything" and it shines through in his ever-positive demeanor here at H.A.  If Dave could time travel anywhere, he would go to Egypt around 2560BC to see how the pyramids were really built!

    David holds a Master of Science in Information Systems, an MBA, and PMP and ITIL V3 Foundation certifications. In addition to an impressive educational background, David also possesses great organizational skills and a friendly attitude. All of this, and more, makes David an amazing asset to the Project Management team. David is a spontaneous guy that’s always up for a good time! His favorite movie is The Shawshank Redemption because of its life themes of patience, faith, hope, friendship and survival.

    Emily has a hybrid role at H.A., assisting the outbound sales team, as well as managing accounts of her own. She is a relentlessly hard worker but manages, at least once a day, to deliver a quick one-liner that sends her cube neighbors into a fit of laughter. This might be part of the reason her favorite emoji is the crying-laughing face. Despite her biological age, Emily is a bit of an old soul. She is a parrot head and lives by the words of her good friend, Jimmy Buffett, “Breathe in, breathe out, move on.”

    You guessed it, Georgy is another member of the H.A./WCU Alumni Club, holding a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and Management. She is a part of the inside sales team, assisting the outbound account managers. On a weekend, you can find Georgy outside soaking up some vitamin D or sending funny videos to the “Inside Team” group text.

    Grant is an account manager and regional sales manager with over 25 years of experience in the IT industry. He joined the High Availability, Inc. team in 2016 to help build out the D.C. Metro office. Grant is a veteran of the Army, where he spent 21 years as an Aviation Officer, flying Blackhawks and Apaches. He currently resides in Virginia with his wife, Lisa, and three children, Danielle, Madison, and Greg, as well as two Labradoodles, Shaka and Kona!

    Greg joined the High Availability, Inc. professional services team in 2011 and has strong expertise in the area of backup and recovery. His patience and diligence when confronted with an issue make him an invaluable asset to the professional services team. In addition to a career in IT, Greg is an active EMT of 20 years, a member of the Civil Air Patrol, and a skilled archer and farmer. If there is ever a zombie or white walker invasion, we plan to hide out at Greg’s!

    As a graduate of East Stroudsburg University (breaking up the WCU dynamic in the office), Hannah joined the asset management team at High Availability, Inc in 2017. The majority of her responsibilities include tracking client support contract renewal dates and preparing renewal quotes for the enterprise sales team. A big lover of live music, Hannah has been to over 100 concerts in her life! She also loves spending her free time running, traveling, and collecting way too many succulents.

He takes a proactive approach to all of his professional services projects and frequently applies his life motto, “Do something today that your future self will thank you for.” When James isn’t ensuring that your network is secure, he spends his time working on cars, fishing, or biking.

    Jarett ‘JK-47’ Kulm started his career over 20 years ago, while in high school, writing a Perl-based online pizza ordering system for a tiny online mall. Since then, he has held a diverse range of roles, from help desk at Oracle, to working for Air Force Space Command doing things he can't disclose without black helicopters hunting all of us. JK was a client of H.A. for 7 years before joining the team. Having been in the shoes of our clients, he has special insight into their needs. Every solution he speaks to is one he wants to be proud of and say, "We built that!"

Jason holds a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing and a minor in Finance from Arcadia University. His hobbies range from playing baseball to spending an absurd amount of time trying to convince his coworkers that he is Batman.

She personifies her life motto, “be kind, have fun and create something beautiful!” When Jill isn’t in the office, ensuring your assets are under support, she can be found outside, taking photos and trying to find a beach. She always has her camera on-hand, and it's not out of character for her to stop on the side of the road & turn her passenger into an impromptu model.

    Joe has been in the IT industry since 1998, and joined High Availability Inc. in January of 2017, as a principal technologist. He specializes in storage, data protection, virtualization and disaster recovery/business continuity. Despite having already seen the film a million times, Joe can not stop watching Love Actually. If he could time travel to any point in time, he would go back to 2015, right before he lost his favorite sweater, and tell his 2-year-younger self to hang it on the coat rack, as to not lose it. Then he and younger Joe would watch Love Actually together and tell no one.

    Jon is High Availability, Inc.'s Solution Architect and resident goofball. His quick wit and infinite knowledge of all things film and television have earned him a fan club in the office. He says his spirit animal is the dove. Jon can also be serious business, though. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology and specializes in server-storage virtualization. If Jon could have any super power, it would be the ability to absorb knowledge through osmosis.

    Kacey is a veteran of H.A Inc., having worked at the company since 2009, which may be why many of her co-workers consider her the “mama duck” of the office. Kacey has a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from WCU, along with 6 other alumni in the office (Go Golden Rams)! Kacey is known throughout the H.A. client base for her responsiveness, accuracy, and rumored butter-churning skills. In her spare time, she practices daily yoga and meditation in hopes of one day making a full recovery from the 6 ½ years she worked as Steve’s Inside Sales Rep.

    Accounts receiviable manager, Karen, joined the High Availability, Inc. team in 2011, working out of the Minnesota office. Karen holds a Bachelor's degree in Business- Accounting. Outside of the office, Karen loves to cook, work on home projects, and go for walks. She identifies most with the fictional character Hermione.

    Kathleen Hoffman, CPA, has almost 30 years of finance and accounting experience. She spent the first 13 years in public accounting on the east coast. Since her move back to Minnesota in 2000, she spent the last 10 plus years in the technology sector, mostly in the Unified Communications space. Kathleen isn't just all business, however. In college, she played electric bass in a garage band! She still has the bass, but she's not too sure she can play it anymore.

    Lamis, a CCNP Collaboration certified engineer, has worked with Cisco products since 2010 and joined High Availability, Inc. in 2017 as a member of our growing collaborations practice. Her expertise is in Cisco Unified Communications and voice over IP implementation. Lamis most identifies with the fictional character Mulan because they are both very competitive, and being petit, a part of them always needs to prove that they can be as tough as the guys they interact with on a daily basis.

    Marco has been a key player on the High Availability, Inc. professional services team since 2009, specializing in VMware and NetApp technologies. He is a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and enjoys spending his free time at the Crossfit gym. Marco will be the first one to join you for a beer, and the last one to leave the bar. An H.A. veteran to some, but undoubtedly young at heart!

    Marcos has held a career in the technology industry since 2001, providing data storage and backup solutions for a wide range of companies. This includes 10 years as an Enterprise Account Manager and District Sales manager at NetApp. His focus at High Availability, Inc. is on expanding H.A.'s footprint in the Mid-Atlantic region, by leveraging relationships he has cultivated over the last 15 years. Marcos also supports H.A.'s Rocky Mountain and DC Metro regions from a sales and leadership perspective.

    High Availability, Inc. veteran, Marty Klein, has worked as an account manager at the company since 2004! He is an IT generalist, expert analogy architect, and audio book enthusiast. Marty has a friend in each of H.A.’s clients, and if you know him, you know his keen ability to tell a story. Our favorite story time occurs at the H.A. holiday party, when Marty makes his annual speech, flawlessly conveying the essence of working at H.A. If Marty could have any super power, it would be to be a scratch golfer.

    Matt is H.A.’s OG engineer and director of storage and virtualization practices. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from Drexel University and has worked at H.A since 2007. Matt’s areas of expertise include physical and digital storage as well as confectionery goods – One visit to his office and you’ll quickly understand. On a sunny afternoon, you’ll likely find Matt outside, enjoying a beverage with his beautiful wife and playing with their kids, or in the “tall” section of Banana Republic shopping for pastel-colored attire.

She is a member of the Inside Sales team, where she puts her great communications skills to use! On the weekends, Monica enjoys paddle boarding and hiking with her rescue pup, Owen. Her favorite quote is, "know the rules well, so you can break them effectively."

    Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert, Ron Ong (CCIE# 38844), is a bit of a legend around High Availability, Inc. It’s rumored that Firewalls use Ron Ong for security. Ron has a Bachelor of Science degree from St. Lawrence University, and over 15 years of experience in Networking and Security. He loves just about every technology, but specializes in all things Cisco. A perfect month for Ron is one that includes a Nexus core upgrade, Next-Generation Firewall deployment, wireless assessment, WAN redesign, and a bit of emergency troubleshooting. On a sunny Sunday afternoon, you can find Ron prepping for his Monday installs.

    If you happen to spot a gentleman in your data center that bears a striking resemblance to a Viking, that might be Ryan. This gentle giant is a veteran of the United States Air Force and holds a Computer Management Information Systems Degree. He has a special focus in storage and virtualization. Ryan says his spirit animal is the Panda Bear because of its lack of coordination and unrelenting hunger.

    Ryan joined the High Availability, Inc. team in 2012 as an account manager and regional sales manager, specializing in customer satisfaction. He is always the first to offer a compliment where deserved, and inspiration where needed. In all seriousness, however, Ryan isn’t all serious. His witty one-liners make their way into every monthly sales meeting at just the right moment.  Ryan also takes great pride in his ability to eat an entire cheeseburger in just two bites – We dare you to challenge him!

There seems to be a constant chuckle resonating from his office. On a weekend, you can find Sean outside with his wife, Janet, and their two boys. Ask him to tell you a story of his pre-father “Party Sean” days!

    Zane Robertson is the newest employee at High Availability, Inc. headquarters, in Minnesota. Zane is responsible for managing all incoming bills and generating outgoing invoices, as well as assisting with order tracking and updates. If Zane could have any super power, he'd like the ability to teleport.
